Ease of Use:  

Though the tutorial offers little help, the program is fairly easy to figure out. If you've worked with other software, you'll catch on to Play Music in no time.

Feature Set:  

Play Music has an extensive feature set and can notate both guitar tablature and percussions.

The software offers short duration times of 128ths-comparable to some of our top rated programs.

Ease of Installation:  

We didn't encounter any problems while installing play music.

Input/Output Capabilities:  

All files, including MIDI files, need to be converted into the Play Music format before they can be edited.

Editing:  

It is easy to enter notes onto the staff and the editing tools are sparse but work well.

The palette selection made changing items convenient.

Help/Support:  

The tutorial is general it's hard to get any specifics. The help button sends you to a PDF file where there is no option to search for a topic or specific word.

The developer is coming out with a video tutorial and also a MAC version of Play Music.

This is an all around good program. The novice user will have to rely heavily on a weak help section in order to discover the programs abilities.
